Volunteers will help sort, date check, organize, move, and stock donated food from the annual National Association of Letter Carriers "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive. In previous years, EFAA has received over 20,000 pounds of donations! This project is physical in nature, requiring bending and lifting of moderate to heavy items including boxes and bags of canned goods.

Parking: Please park on 16th Street north of Yaupon Ave or on Yaupon Ave or on either 15th or 17th Sts. Please DO NOT park in EFAA’s parking lot or in front of our building as these areas are reserved for residents and food bank shoppers.

Arrival: Please enter the main EFAA door, on the corner of 16th St and Yarmouth. (The door is actually on 16th Street.) Our Director of Volunteer Services, Sue McCullough, will meet you in the lobby. She will give you a quick tour of our food bank and provide instructions for the project.

Other: Please bring a reusable water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. EFFA will provide light refreshments and water.
