Volunteer Registration

Select Available Shift/Roles

Come for one hour or stay for all three!  On May 16th, join us for Operation Pollination. 
Pick any job you want to do:
-Plant native seeds (seeds will be provided by the Denver Audubon. No other seeds are allowed.)
-Cut back, pull out weeds
-Trim bushes
-Nature walk (walk the paths, see the ponds and creek)
-Bird watching
-Attend the pollinator/bee education tent
-Learn about native plants
-Visit our partner organization tents 

What to Bring

  • Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes
  • Optional: gloves, trowels
  • Do NOT bring seeds (It’s illegal to introduce seeds in Colorado state park areas. Denver Audubon provides the seeds.)
  • Water and juices will be provided at the Rotary tent

Event starts at 9:00 am and goes until noon on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

NOTE: The Epic Day of Service will take place at the Audubon-managed Kingery area on the south end of Chatfield property, using the separate entrance near Waterton Canyon rather than the main state park entrance. You will not need to buy a Chatfield park pass because you are entering through the Kingery entrance.
