ROTARY DOES A WORLD OF GOOD!

The Little Falls NY Rotary is raising money for the Little Falls Food Pantry. 29% of adults in Herkimer County experience food insecurity and Herkimer County is identified as one of the poorest counties in NY state. Help us fight hunger by making a donation to benefit the Little Falls Food Pantry.

Our best-known project is the fight to eradicate polio. Since 1979, Rotary has contributed 2 billion dollars and millions of hours to immunize 3 billion children worldwide. 20 million people are walking today who would otherwise be paralyzed! There were just 328 cases last year, but we can’t let up… polio would quickly return to epidemic scale.

But that’s not our main focus! Rotary’s 36,000 Clubs serve the needs of our communities. Projects can be almost anything, from feeding hungry families and supporting children fighting cancer to revitalizing parks. Each Club does multiple projects every year with the funding of our members and our time. But the needs are far greater than we can tackle alone.
