This year, our focus is on feeding hungry kids
The annual Epic Day of Service is fast approaching! Mark your calendars for this Saturday, April 25th. This monumental day is dedicated to impactful service, and this year, the Rotary Club of Hyannis is spearheading a major collaborative effort to address a critical issue facing our community: food insecurity on the Cape, with a particular focus on hungry kids.
This year's initiative transcends the boundaries of a single club. The Rotary Club of Hyannis is proud to be joining forces with the Cape & Island Rotary Council (CIRC). The CIRC is a powerful collaborative body that represents the eleven dedicated Rotary Clubs across the Cape and Islands. Together, our collective energy is focused on one significant goal.
Our 2026 Collaborative Service Project is a large, high-impact Rotary Food-Packing Event. We are partnering with the local, incredibly impactful Family Table Collaborative Non-Profit. This partnership is crucial, as the Family Table Collaborative possesses the expertise and infrastructure to ensure the packed meals reach those most in need, directly impacting children and families who face hunger every day right here in our own backyard. This combined effort is designed to significantly boost the available food resources for vulnerable populations, embodying Rotary's commitment to Service Above Self.
