HARVEST FOOD PACKING SERVICE PROJECT

The Rotary Club of Southington, in collaboration with the Rotary Clubs of Bristol & Plainville, along with the Unico Club of Southington and the Lion's Club of Southington, will host a Harvest Food Packing Service Project on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Derynoski School Cafeteria, 240 Main St, Southington, Ct,beginning at 9:00 AM.  This hands-on volunteer event will bring together community members to assemble nutritious, shelf stable meal packages for food pantries and families in need.

Participants will work in an assembly-line format to efficiently package thousands of meals, ensuring that those facing food insecurity have access to essential nutrition.  This project exemplifies Rotary's commitment to "Service Above Self", uniting volunteers in a shared mission to fight hunger and strengthen communities.
