NR Rotary 2026 Community Homes Dinner-Dance

The NR Rotary 2026 Epic Day of Service event is a dinner-dance for our neighbors residing in various group homes throughout our community. 

Often forgotten, our guests are treated to an evening of music, dancing and good food. The more than 100 guests come from residences run by our outstanding local not for profits and state agencies. Participating agencies include: Jawonio, ARC, Venture, ADAPT and NYS Office of People with Developmental Disabilities.

The event space is provided by the Village of West Haverstraw. Volunteers include a DJ, students from the NRHS Interact Club and food prep assistance from the Volunteer Fire Company.

It is truly a wonderful, fun and heartwarming experience. Other clubs have indicated that they plan to adopt this event format for their DOS project this year. 2026 will mark our fourth such event. Please support us!
