Veterans, We Thank You for your Service!

Four veterans or veteran's widows, will be honored for their service, support and love of country with a yard clean-up per their wishes!  Working with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)  and Aging Resources of Douglas County, Rotary helped identify these heroes & their families.  Wishes have been finalized projects have been approved, materials have been ordered and teams formed with almost 30 volunteers to date working 4 veteran projects.  Their location & plans:

Hilltop Terrace - 4 tiers of landings will have weeds pulled, trees trimmed, flowers planted, mulch distributed, a wooden bridge repaired & a bench repaired & painted.

Hilltop - A general backyard cleanup is required to ready for the summer season.

Castle Rock - Bird feeders will be installed along with squirrel protectors, in addition to the planting of spring flowers.

Parker - The needed repair and painting of the garden railings.
