MASA Seed Foundation, local food security support
9:00AM – 3:00PM MDT
Contact: MASA Seed Foundation spring planting and greenhouse support
Join us for a powerful day of hands-on service as we partner with MASA Seed Foundation to support their work to combat food insecurity in our community. MASA’s Farm-to-Food Bank program strengthens our local food system by growing nutrient-dense, culturally meaningful crops and supplying them to Boulder County food banks. Annually, MASA provides food for nearly 11,000 meals to Community Food Share and produces over 18 TONS of food for regional food banks. Come ready to dig in, connect, and help grow healthy food for families who need it most. All ages are welcome to help with activities in the sun, shade or seed house including thinning and transplanting starters, seed sorting and grounds clean-up. Come for an hour or stay for the day.
LET'S MAKE A MEANINGFUL IMPACT TOGETHER!!
