Pickleball Tournament For Mental Health Awareness
Boise's Annual Pickleball Fundraiser Tournament for Mental Health Awareness.
8am to 8pm, Saturday & Sunday, May 17-18.
Details for this event can be found here: https://www.growinghappiness.org/general-4
We have two Volunteers are needed to help us with Court Monitoring, as well as Front Desk Check-in for teams as they arrive for the tournament, and Raffle Ticket Runners. Shifts are about 4 hours with some flexibility.
Check-In & Raffle Team
Be part of the team that keeps things flowing smoothly from the very start! During peak times, you’ll help check players in—greeting them, collecting waivers, offering raffle tickets, and pointing them to the right court. During the quieter times, you’ll shift into selling raffle tickets around the venue. It’s a great mix of organized check-in and friendly, on-the-go fun. You’ll be outside or under a covered area, so dress for the weather and bring your best tournament energy!
Court Monitor Team
Know your pickleball? Join the Court Monitor Team and help keep matches on time and on track. Volunteers in this role should already be familiar with tournament rules and format. You’ll help regulate warm-up timing, answer basic player questions, and ensure scores are reported quickly after each match. This role is ideal for someone who’s confident, organized, and ready to keep the courts running smoothly. Stopwatches will be provided—just bring your knowledge and a calm, clear presence.
NOTE: Shift times might change slightly as we are still solidifying the play schedule, which dictates check-in times. We will confirm times with you through email as we get closer to the event.
