| In early 2024, The Rotary Club of Claremont proudly sponsored Community Restoration and Revival (CR&R), a dedicated club at Claremont High School. CR&R is committed to assisting seniors and individuals with mobility challenges by providing much-needed help with yard work and home maintenance. This inspiring volunteer group is made up of high school students, Interact members, Rotarians, and other community volunteers. Notably, the club has attracted the involvement of local leaders, including the Chief of Police, the Mayor, and City Council Members, who generously donate their time to support these efforts. Their participation helps foster a strong sense of community spirit and pride. Since its inception, CR&R has revitalized over 30 homes, enhancing not only the appearance of individual properties but also uplifting the entire neighborhood. The club’s work truly embodies the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self,” as it continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents throughout Claremont. |
