Second Harvest Food Distribution at CalWORKS

Do you attend your local farmer’s market? Especially here in California where they are available year round. Now think about that not being available to you.

Members of our unhoused communities do not have ready access to farmers markets, or even fresh produce. Second Harvest Food Bank is trying to change that by having farmers markets for these communities and they need volunteers to set up crates of produce, assist with bagging, and keep the "stalls" replenished.

Rotary Club of  San Jose’s Unhoused Impact Committee will be supporting Second Harvest by volunteering at the farmers market located at CALWORKS, 1879 Senter Rd San Jose, CA 95112  from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  on May 16th, 2026.
