Volunteers will be divided into two groups of eight.
Each group will conduct tests at 5 sites along the river. The tests include (time is for each site):
- Rotary UNEP (Nitrates, Phosphate, current location info) – 10 minutes
- Silt Test (SAM 1) – 5 minutes
- Chemistry Test (pH, Temp, Turbidity, DO)– 5 minutes
Group Lead will have the necessary test kits.
Volunteers will learn the testing method and interpretation of the test results.
It's about learning, engaging with the community members and having an enjoyable session (starting with coffee and the well-known Store Cafe at Tai Tapu.
