Canberra Sundowners Birthing Kits Packing 2026

Join our celebration of Rotary’s Epic Day of Service on Saturday, 16 May to help pack 1,000 birthing kits for use by pregnant women in rural communities and low-resource settings around the world.

Each kit contains key items to assist a birth in a remote area without access to hospitals, making a very positive impact on mortality rates for mothers and children. The birthing kits are shipped by the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia to regions in need of this type of support and have been proven to save the lives of both mothers and new-borns.

We are running a single packing shift between 10am and 1pm and will have capacity for about 60 people.
