Compassion in Action - Care Packs for DV victims
WE NEED YOUR HELP AND ASSISTANCE
PLEASE NOTE: THE PACKING DAY WILL BE SATURDAY 2ND MAY from 1PM TO 4PM (Sydney time)
(Note: we are having problems with the date & time changing due to being a USA website - hoping to get this corrected - work in progress)
The Rotary Club of Macquarie Park wants to do a "Compassion in Action" project where from now and until Thursday 30th April 2026, we are asking people / companies / organisations to donate items for our packing day (EPIC Day of Service).
Our packing day for all these products will be done on Saturday 2 May 2026 at The Northern Centre, 3-5 Anthony Road, West Ryde from 1pm to 4pm and we asking for volunteers in the community to help with this as well.
We are requesting the following items for these compassion packs to support domestic violence victims and ITEMS NEED TO BE NEW:
- Tote bags or backpacks - must be NEW
- Shampoo & Conditioner products
- Soap and / or Body Wash
- Toothbrushes & toothpaste
- Roll on deodorant
- Sanitary items (tampons and sanitary pads)
- Baby wipes and nappies
- New socks (for women & children)
These items can be dropped off at 14 Agincourt Road, Marsfield NSW 2122 or call Roseanna Gallo on 0418 692 410 to arrange a drop off time or email her at: roseanna@rgmusic.com.au or can be posted to this address.
