Imagine what could happen if, for one powerful day, our community came together to build something that whispers hope into the world. On 16 May 2026, Rotarians, families, students, and neighbours will join forces to create a Peace Pole — a global monument to peace — for a local school.

Peace Poles share the universal message May Peace Prevail on Earth in multiple languages. At a time when the world feels divided and uncertain, this project offers a hands‑on way to nurture peace in our hearts, our homes, our neighbourhoods, and our schools. Together, we’ll build a symbol of unity, belonging, and hope that will stand for decades.

Volunteer activities include:  • Applying multilingual peace messages • Assisting children and families with simple tasks • Photographing the process for Rotary and school records • Creating a Peace Pole ceremony

It’s creative, meaningful, and fun — and you’ll leave knowing you helped plant peace where it’s needed most.

Please click on the VOLUNTEER button to let us know you'll be coming to volunteer on the Epic Day of Service on Saturday 16th May 2026.

Free morning tea will be provided so please let us know any dietary requirements.
